Rennie Team Tuesday: Sal Mawani

Meet Sal Mawani, Rennie & Associates Advisor

Why do you work with Rennie?
Rennie has given me the opportunity to work alongside with such amazing talent, helped me build my business around a brand that is so unique and, most importantly, with their continued support and leadership, I have become more successful in both my personal and professional life.

What makes you passionate about real estate?
My clients mean the world to me and, for that, I strive each and every time we connect to give them the best of me. It’s all about that unique experience they truly deserve. My passion is not only making one’s move a complete success, but an experience they will always remember.
Simply put, it’s about the people!

What do you most value in your colleagues?
At Rennie, the agents here are always friendly, high-spirited and they tend to bring a great deal of knowledge and success to the table. Diversity is a great thing!

What do you value most in your friends?
Friends mean family and, for all of the amazing relationships I have out there, we always encourage trust, love and good times from one another. Most importantly, just being ourselves when we are together!

You specialize in the Port Moody, Port Coquitlam and Coquitlam neighbourhoods – what makes them a great place to live?
Each is one of a kind! Port Moody offers serenity and brings out nature’s beauty at its finest – just Google it! Rocky Point and New Port Village are the places to be. Port Coquitlam is a city with a community of its own! It has a historic downtown, which hosts many events from parades and fun fairs to fireworks annually. Coquitlam is a much larger city and, from what I have seen over the years, has redeveloped so much and is always ever-changing! Most recently, there has been a growth of new residents moving here from all over the world, making this a great place to live and learn. Be a part of Tri-City living!

In a nutshell, describe a day in the life of Sal Mawani (personal and professional).
Super busy, from early mornings to late evenings but always trying to maintain a balanced lifestyle! Though I always wish there was more time in the day, as my priorities include my three kids and helping out my wife however I can. From 8:45 am to mid-evening, you can find me following up with my sellers and buyers by either phone, email and/or text. My favorite part is when I am out showing amazing condos on the 17th floor to gorgeous homes with park-like settings and even properties that are outdated, with a smile! And let’s not forget the two and half hours a day I spend strictly hunting for another new listing. Lastly, I try not to never miss putting the kids to sleep every night.

Name one or two of your favorite gems.
Driving into the valley of North Maple Ridge on any given Sunday to teeing off at 6:45am on a crisp late summer morning and not looking at the time (or the fact that I even own a phone!).

Tell us about your everyday essentials.
iPad and other gadgets, measuring tape and zap straps, suit ties and pocket squares, extra pens and business cards – and I can’t leave home without my last minute golf accessories!
