Rennie Review – February 2018
Each month, Rennie Market Intelligence produces the Rennie Review, which includes the latest real estate data for Vancouver and the Lower Mainland’s housing market. In addition to presenting detailed neighbourhood-level stats, the Rennie Review also includes current Rennie Marketing Systems projects, featured listings, client testimonials, our take on the latest market conditions, and more.
One month into 2018 and market trends look remarkably similar to those that characterized much of 2017: that is to say, continued strength in the demand for housing, continued weakness in the supply of it, and the predictable intersection of these two forces, rising prices.
Of particular interest is the upward movement of attached prices and the seemingly directionless movement of detached ones. Indeed, for current owners of attached homes that moonlight as wannabe owners of detached homes, this is as good a time as there has been since 2013 to make the jump out of the strata world and into the freehold world. To whomever it applies, Godspeed.
